Onno Wieringa

Onno is Dutch but studied in the UK, qualifying from Cambridge in ‘84. He bought Abingdon in 1994, his main base. He has a wide range of experience and interest in medicine and surgery and also holds a degree in human acupuncture.

Paloma Diaz Carretero

Paloma qualified from Madrid University. She is co-owner, and set up the Grove Park Clinic in 2003, where she works full time whilst juggling its management and development around family life. Paloma also teaches at the new Veterinary school in Surrey.

Deb Small

Deb is our Head Nurse and qualified in 2004. She joined the practice in 2007 and is based mainly at the Abingdon Clinic. She is our pet insurance expert. Deb also runs a successful cat sitting business: www.kensingtoncats.com

Rima Baki

Rima is a Registered Veterinary Nurse. She joined the practice in 2011, but has been nursing since 2006. She is based at the Abingdon Clinic. She loves all animals, but has a soft spot for big dogs.

Emma Penry

Emma is a Registered Veterinary Nurse. She joined the practice in 2014, at the Abingdon Clinic and has been qualified since 2000. Emma loved her dearly departed cat Maurice Lacroix. Mr Filbert is now trying to fill his fluffy shoes.

Gracia Vila

Gracia qualified in 1998. She works as a part-time Vet mainly at Grove Park.  Outside work, she enjoys quality time with her two children, husband and cat Dodo, photography, traveling, cooking, cinema and music.

Rosi works as a receptionist at our Grove Park clinic. She has a BSc in Zoology from Imperial College London and a master's of Conservation and Biodiversity from Exeter University. After working for several conservation organisations, she has decided to further pursue her love for animals by exploring the veterinary field of work.
